Publisher's Description:

GalaXQL - GalaXQL is an interactive SQL tutorial. Follow the instructions by your virtual teacher. The teacher can understand several possible mistakes that you may make, and gives hints on what may have gone wrong. You can skip to any chapter in the tutorial whenever you want. Use the query editor to interact with the database, and to complete the assignments given by the virtual teacher. SQLite (the database engine used in GalaXQL) returns helpful, human-readable error messages. If you need more information, you can look things up in the integrated reference. Oh, and the OpenGL-rendered galaxy map is not there just for show; you can alter the galaxy using SQL.

List of Changes:

Version 2.0 from 2006-06-04

better layout, new rendering mode for lower-end computers, optional rendering of the 3d coordinate axes, updated SQLite database engine, updated wxwidgets libraries

User License Agreement:

Any resemblance to real persons living or dead is purely coincidental. Prof. Guru is meant to be a generic, wise professor figure, and thus may resemble any number of people.

While effort has been made to make this tutorial as flawless as we could, it's entirely possible that some mistake has creeped in.

The program code contains SQLite, which is public domain, and wxWidgets, which has its own, rather liberal license. The rest of the program code is governed by this BSD-like license:
